Halloween Fun, The Haunt on Bellevue

The Haunt on Bellevue Haunted House
Halloween is right around the corner! This year a group of La Jolla High School students are busy preparing for the best year ever by helping build the ultimate Haunted House experience. This year "The Haunt on Bellevue" organizers are looking for sponsors to help with building expenses.

Levels of available sponsorship include*:

1 . Buccaneer, a $25 donation (includes Two front of the line passes on Halloween night)

2 . First Mate, a $50 donation (includes four front of the line passes on Halloween night)

3 . Captain, a $100+ donation (includes four front of the line passes on Halloween night, name recognition on the sponsorship board, and a private behind the scenes tour of the Haunt)

Your donation also contributes to a good cause:
*A portion of all sponsorships will be contributed to the La Jolla High School Interact Club. Interact is a community service based club, that once a year heads down to build homes in Tijuana for underprivlaged families.

Let's Show Our Support! LJHS Students Participating In Hurley Video Contest

La Jolla High School is participating in a nationwide contest sponsored by popular surf brand Hurley. The contest known as Hurley: Walk the Walk, allows students to post viral videos on the Hurley website. The first in the series of videos are due to upload February 8, 2010. The theme of the first contest is "DNA" and asks La Jolla to highlight students who are exceptionally talented in the areas of art, music, surf and fashion, the cornerstones of the Hurley brand. The second video chronicles La Jolla High students and their use of Hurley products. The third and final video documents students as they take over a Hurley store for one night and 10% of proceeds go directly to the school. In addition, La Jolla Jolla High will receive $500 for each video uploaded to the site. The community is asked to go to http://hurley.com/wtw/ and vote for La Jolla High's videos starting later this month. When the timeline starts I'll be sure to announce and Tweet about it! La Jolla High hopes to advance as far as possible, progressing means more money for the school, which is critical in light of continuing budget cuts. Let's show our support! This is a positive opportunity for students to show their creativity while benefiting their school.
