For those who have not been it is a beautifully remodeled historic beach cottage built in the 1920's. This is a great place to dine on the patio and enjoy the weather. Mom-a-licious: Fresh, fast, family food. More than a cookbook, “Mom-a-licious” captures the heart of healthy eating for families. Chef Domenica Catelli is the cousin is Bird Rock resident Celia Sepulveda. Celia has been instrumental in marketing and publicizing this fabulous book. Bird Rock design talent

Bird Rock resident and design firm owner David Robinson often receives rave reviews for restaurant design interiors. A local projects include, Roppongi & Jack's La Jolla. In addition to commercial design, Robinson only accepts one residential commission a year. A stunning example is the Lawrence home, set high above La Jolla Shores it resembles a nautilus shell opening to the west.
